2008; The 2008 CVCA giveaway car loaded with extras that really set this car apart from all the rest! The paint on our 1968 Dodge Charger R/T clone is a black with wet sanded clear coat. Under the hood is a .030 over 1968 440 cid power house built to Chrystler performance magazine specifications fitted with 10 1/2 to one TRW forged pistons and Clevite 77 bearings. A Mopar 292 degree 509 inch lift hydraulic camshaft operates the valves in ported no lead heads. Hooker 2 inch competition headers provide exhaust flow into Flowmaster mufflers and produce a nice street rumble an Edelbrock Tarantula manifold and Edelbrock 750 cfm carburator provide induction. It sports a new Mopar High Performance light weight starter, all new suspension components including new bal joints, tie rod ends, idles arm, and pitman arm. The fuel system includes a new Mopar fuel tank and new 3/8 inch fuel line from tank to carb. The new interior includes Year One door panels, 1968 correct seat covers and new seat foam. The headliner is new along with the carpet kit. All exterior stainless steel trim has been polished to show condition. All glass seals and weather stripping have been replaced. Street meats have been provided by Les Schwab Tires are 15X10 rears and 15X8 fronts that are period correct B.F. Goodrich T/A radials with Cragar SS Wheels all around. Stopping power is by way of a newMaster Power disc brake conversion in the front and new drums, shoes, springs and wheel cylinders on the rear. A freshly rebuilt torqueflire 727 with a TCI 2500 stall speed torque converter connects the mighty 440 with the Mopar 3,55:1 ratio Sure Grip rear end. Tunes will be provided by a custom stereo system from Stokes Bros. Car Entertainment. |

2007; our 25th anniversary, the Cache Valley Cruising Association selected a ’56 Ford F-100 pick-up for our grand prize give away. This fully loaded truck is the first pick-up we have chosen for our give away vehicle and it has all the special features and extras that have come to be expected on a CVCA give away vehicle. After acquiring the F-100 prior to last year’s shows, we decided a total ground up makeover was in order. With outstanding initiative and support, Rust to Rods has taken on the F-100 as their own project to ensure that the CVCA meets their goals of providing a no holds barred topquality give away car that also showcases their street rod creating abilities and insight. As a result the CVCA/Rust to Rods F-100 is now “over the top”. |

This beautiful red with white stripe, convertible RS Camaro is loaded with all the extra goodies that make this car a real eye-catcher and a great classic for cruising any Main Street! A 383 stroker resides under the hood and is fitted with go-fast features like the Edelbrock Performer intake manifold and Demon Carburetor. 2005; Registered Cars: 890; Giveaway Car: 1966 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible; Spectators: 37,000+ For the 2005 show the Cache Valley Cruising Association has chosen a restored 1966 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible. It has a small block Chevrolet Motor connected to a 700R4 overdrive transmission. It also has a 3.73:1 Posi-rear end with Torque Thrust-D polished wheels. It comes with an upgraded stereo with a black vinyl interior. When complete it will have a cold air induction hood with flame graphics. It is complete and ready to drive any where you would like to go. |

2004; Registered Cars: 976; Giveaway Car: 1957 Chevy Bellaire Tudor Hardtop; Spectators: 35,000+ The 2004 grand prize giveaway is a classic 1957 Bellaire Tudor Hardtop. This car has been fully restored from the frame up with upgrades to the suspension and braking systems. Disk brakes are used on the front along with a power brake booster and master cylinder to insure good stopping capability. It has a 400 small block Chevy bored 60 thousandths over to 410 ci., with approx. 400 h.p. The transmission has been upgraded to a turbo 350 with a 3000-RPM stall speed torque converter. |

2002; Registered Cars: 1004; Giveaway Car: 1932 Ford Open Wheel Roadster; Spectators: 35,000+ This beautiful black 1932 Ford Open wheel Roadster has a removable hard top. It is equipped with a 350 Chevy connected to a Turbo 350 trans. The Headers are HPC coated Blockhuggers. The rear end is an 8" Ford and the car is carried on a set of Boyds wheels. The front brakes are discs and the rear are drums. The interior is Gray/Charcoal Gray/Red with black carpet. The gauges are VDO white face. There is an AM/FM CD stereo. The trunk opens and closes by way of an electric switch. Any one would be proud to win this car as the 2002 Cache Valley Cruise-In winner. |

This car is gorgeous both inside and out and anyone would be proud to win it at the C.V.C.A. 2001 show. |

2000; Registered Cars: 1136; Giveaway Car: 1939 Ford Tudor; Spectators: 33,000 The 2000 C.V.C.A. giveaway is ready for it's debut. We purchased a stunning '39 standard 2-door Ford sedan. It has a Mustang II IFS, with a Chevy 383 stroker motor that is hooked up to a Turbo 350 trany. The body is coated with House of Color-Deep Bluish\Purple paint that shows off the straight mirror finish bodywork. Inside, the interior is stitched in gray material with a trace of purple in the fabric. The dash features a nice stereo system with upgraded gauges to relay all the critical information to the driver. To tie them together, the steering wheel and the wheels on the 4 corners of the car are replicated in the same pattern. The high quality of craftsmanship and time that has been put in this '39 Tudor Sedan is a car that everyone will want to own. |

1998; Registered Cars: 1060; Giveaway Car: 37 Ford Sedan Delivery; Spectators: 33,000 For the 1998 year the C.V.C.A. has changed how the giveaway car is built. We purchased a ‘37 Ford Sedan Delivery. The car is complete with only a few corrections or repairs required. It has a Mustang II IFS, with a Chevy 350 motor hooked to a Turbo 350 trans. It is complete with A/C, PW, Remote entry, Digital Dash, and Halibrand wheels. The car was repainted a bright red and minor repairs to the upholstery and engine bay were performed to freshen the car up a bit. |

1997; Registered Cars: 1,051; Giveaway Car: 41 Ford Phantom 2-door Woody; Spectators: 30,000 For the Cache Valley Cruise-In ‘97 we built a ‘41 Ford Phantom 2-door Woody. The body and frame started out as a Coupe, but with a few major modifications, it was transformed into a 2-door Woody by Curtis Creek of Ghostwood, using New York Hard Rock Maple. The top was chopped 3-inches and some of the front sheet metal reworked to allow the big 429 to fit snugly between the front fenders. The chassis sports a Mustang II IFS with power steering, power four wheel disc brakes and tubular control arms. The 429 transferred power through a C6 automatic transmission, into a 9-inch Ford rear end. The rolling stock includes 16-inch Eagle 3-spoke aluminum rims wrapped with Goodyear Eagle CTII radials. Creature comforts include P/W, tinted glass, tilt column, A/C, CD stereo system, and remote entry system. |

1996; Registered Cars: 1,000; Giveaway Car: 34 Chevy 2-door sedan For the ‘96 event we built a ‘34 Chevy 2-door sedan. The body and frame were from Outlaw Performance, and featured a chopped top, filled roof, hidden hinges, and shaved door handles. They body was fitted with custom flush mounted tail lights and third brake light, and then coated with a glossy coat of Purple Pearl paint. The chassis included a Mustang II IFS with power front disc brakes, and a narrowed 9-inch Ford rear end. A small block Chevy 350 supplied the motivation through a Turbo 350 trans. Creature comforts consisted of P/W, tinted glass, tilt and telescopic steering column, A/C, CD stereo system, cruise control, and remote entry system. To keep tabs on vital functions, the car was fitted with back lit analog gauges mounted in a custom aluminum panel. The interior was finished off in lavender tweed and purple vinyl, with all the aluminum trim, including the steering wheel, being anodized in bright purple! |
1995; Registered Cars: 928; Giveaway Car: 57 Chevrolet Belair 2-door hardtop For Cruise-In ‘95, we prepared a 57 Chevrolet Belair 2-door hardtop. The original body remained basically stock, with only a few emblems being removed, to help "smooth it out" a little. The drive train consisted of 350 Chevy engine and transmission, with options such as power steering, power brakes, and P/W being added. The interior was updated with a tilt column, A/C, and sculptured tweed upholstery. Participation was up to 928 entries, the most we have had to date! 1994; Registered Cars: 789; Giveaway Car: 48 Ford Coupe Street Rod; Spectators: 30,000 For the 1994 Cruise-In, a 1948 Ford Coupe Street Rod was built. The body was original steel, smoothed out and painted monochromatic with a Peach color (Pale orange). The chassis consisted of the original frame updated with a Mustang II IFS and parallel leaf rear suspension and an 8-inch Ford rear end. Power came from the venerable small block Chevy 350 and Turbo 350 transmission. The interior was finished off in tweed and vinyl, with aluminum trim and digital instruments in a custom dash. |

1993; Registered Cars: 790; Giveaway Car: 32 Ford Vicky; Spectators: 25,000 For Cruise-In ‘93 we prepared a ‘32 Ford Vicky to giveaway. It was totally new using repro parts, featuring a Rod Factory Chassis with a TCI IFS, topped off with a fiberglass Ravon body and Poliform fenders. It was powered by a Chevy 350 V8 and backed up with a Turbo 350 trans. The interior was in tweed with matching vinyl trim, with an Alpine stereo deck mounted in the custom overhead console. Fresh air was ducted thought the frame rails and into the car through custom vents in the door sills! |

1992; Registered Cars: 682; Giveaway Car: 37 Ford 2-door Sedan; Spectators: 25,000 The Cruise-In "92 giveaway car was a 1937 Ford 2-door sedan, powered by a husky Chevy 350 V8 and a matching Turbo 350 transmission. It was equipped with P/W with remote control, A/C, Alpine compact disk stereo system, and a custom dash equipped with electronic LCD instruments. We added the Club Olympics competition to the event schedule. An estimated 25,000 spectators came to see the 682 cars that were entered and the multitude of activities to be enjoyed. The Main Street Parade/Cruise was expanded to 10 blocks and 2-hours. |
1991; Registered Cars: 607; Giveaway Car: 56 Ford Thunderbird; Spectators: 20,000 Cruise-In ‘91 we built a ‘56 Ford Thunderbird kit car, donated in part by Regal Roadsters. Power was provided by a Ford 302 with a matching C4 transmission. Tunes came via a Alpine stereo system. This car was finished with A/C, P/W and bucket seats. The paint was a beautiful pearl white. We expanded the event to three days, starting registration and the poker run to Bear Lake on Thursday. 607 cars were on hand for the estimated 20,000 spectators to see. |

1990; Giveaway Car: 28 Model A Street Rod; Spectators: 15,000 + We built a 1928 Model A 2-door sedan street rod for Cruise-In ‘90. Power was provided by a Chevy 350 V8 with a Turbo 350 transmission and a goodie package which included P/W, 4-wheel disk brakes and a chromed 4-bar suspension, front and rear. Attendance at this show was again in excess of 15,000 with 500 cars entered. This was the first year for our Main Street Parade/Cruise. It was only one hour long, but was a huge success. We also had other activities that included a poker run, steak fry, chuck wagon breakfast and other fun driving events and children's games. |

1989; Registered Cars: 500; Giveaway Car: 34 Ford 3-window Coupe; Spectators: 15,000 For Cruise-In '89 we built a ‘34 Ford 3 window coupe, bright red, powered by a Chevy 350 V8 and a Turbo 350 transmission. Prize money was again given for the Lip Sync contest and two nights paid motel for the long distance winner. Many other prizes were also given, along with a high quality nylon goodie bag with the Cruise-In logo on it to all participants. This year there was in excess of 15,000 spectators and 500 cars entered at the two day event. |
